That photo was taken at 2 meters depths while scuba diving at Punta Sur of Isla Mujeres ( Punta Sur mean South point). This loggerhead turtle is looking a a future mate and I definitly wasn't on the menu.
Between April and May, sea turtles gather at this very point and start mate between each other during this very moment.

I was lucky enought to be real close to some of them during a drift as 3 currents are mixed at this location.
